About Ms. Calzada
Valerie Calzada, MSN, RN, FNP-C, is an experienced nurse practitioner caring for patients at LUNA MED SPA & WASHINGTON OB-GYN, P.A., a medspa and OBGYN clinic located in San Antonio, Texas. Her patient care skills make her an asset to the practice.
Valerie received her Master of Science in Nursing degree with a concentration in women’s health from The Frontier University of Nursing. She is also AANP-licensed, a professional member of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH), and board-certified in Texas.
Ms. Calzada has many years of experience as a bedside nurse in the labor and delivery unit at the University Hospital.
Ms. Calzada is a native of Central Texas and was born and raised in San Antonio. She is passionate about women’s health and provides compassionate, patient-centered care to women across the lifespan, and enjoys getting to know her patients by talking with and listening to their individual needs. She loves working with women of all ages and looks forward to meeting and caring for current and new patients of LUNA MED SPA & WASHINGTON OB-GYN, P.A. She is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
When she is not working, Valerie enjoys reading, going to the movies, shopping, and cheering for the Spurs and Cowboys. She also enjoys traveling with her three sons, who keep her busy with their activities.
